Happy New Year!

By Ray White Residential Sydney CBD
  • My biggest news of 2012 is that after very little persuasion I set up an office within the Corporate Head Office of Ray White! It was a very easy decision to make, there’s been plenty of challenges; nevertheless I’m delighted that I’ll have the opportunity to build a company that reflects my own core values, ethics and professionalism.
  • One of the most important deals done this year was very recent and it had nothing to do with property. I have signed a formal agreement with the Cancer Council of Australia whereby our office will donate money for every single sale that we undertake. The Cancer Council does such an amazing job and unfortunately it is something that affects so many people. Over the past couple of years we have had first-hand experience, both family and friends having undergone cancer treatments. Speaking to a friend from the UK whose work is paid by Cancer Research UK told me that this is going to be the “Cancer Decade of discovery” whereby they find out so much that will help combat cancer and as a company we are delighted to make our contribution to this worthy cause.
  • My gratitude goes to the support team within the Head Office who have been nothing short of outstanding! From Marketing to IT they have all played a major part in getting this office off the ground and for that I will be forever grateful. I am delighted that Doris Fang has chosen to join us, an outstanding Real Estate Agent, her language skills in Mandarin and Cantonese will certainly give our office and our sellers an edge next year. Thanks also to Sam Kelso and James Price two of finest Auctioneers in Sydney and as for Financial Services we are graced with the best performing LoanMarket Mortgage Broker in Denise Sisavanh-Chan.
  • Looking forward to next year we expect to announce more meaningful projects. Well down the track are our Sydney CBD and Pyrmont Building Profiles to be launched in a hard copy format and an online version.
  • With a growing team also high up our agenda is how to most efficiently move around the city. We take our environmental responsibilities seriously, we expect to announce a Pool Car System in the first quarter of 2013, whereby all members of our team can take public transport to work and use these cars for their daily routine.
  • Another big launch planned in January 2013 will be of Botanic Lane Cove a wonderful off the plan opportunity in Lane Cove. It will consist of 79 apartments of varying sizes including studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and three bedroom apartments most with tree top vistas, walking distance to Lane Cove village, settlement late 2014.
  • We understand that Property Management involves a huge amount of trust and responsibility and we do not enter into this likely, it requires good planning and exceptional people. As a result in the first quarter of 2013 we are really excited to announce the Opening of our brand new Property Management Department!
  • Over the past 6 months I have received a huge amount of support and help from family, my incredibly loyal clients, my fellow friends and colleagues in the Real Estate industry. Therefore on behalf of my family Kate, Mathilda, Annabelle, Jonathan and I we would like to take this opportunity to say a sincere thank you to you all and may you all have a Happy New Year, keep safe and I look forward to seeing you in 2013.
